About Sharline
Hey Everyone! My name is Sharline Reyes, I am 27 years old, and the mother of two wonderful and beautiful little boys. Our family is based out of West Palm Beach, Florida
Before I began competing in pageants, I was an apart of a military family. Born in Puerto Rico, moved to Germany for 3 years, and our family was stationed in Kentucky in 1992. By the time I was 6 years old, I had been fluent in Spanish, English and German. I was very privileged and honored to be apart of the Army family
When my father had been stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky, that is when my mother registered me in my first local pageant, to break me out of my sever shyness.
I didn't win my first pageant, but my mother and I had the pageant bug. I began competing at many local pageants, and thankfully began winning. My first 'big' win, was at our Local county fair at the age of 6 years old, where I competed against 25 seasoned little girls! I was so proud and honored win Miss Hardin County Fair Queen.
Mom registered me to compete at My Little Angels National pageant, without knowing what we were getting ourselves into. There, I competed against 17 beautiful, and very prepared girls, and left there with the beauty title.
At that pageant, in 1993, is when we met Miss Donna. After 3 months of rigorous guidance, and training, I hit the National stage at Majestic National Pageant. There I won my first Grand Supreme title. That was the highest title back in those days. We were so extremely happy, and ecstatic to continue on this new venture.
By the end of my first year competing, I had graciously own many grand supreme national titles, and within 3 years, at the age of 10, I had won3 National Car titles as well
In 1995, the Louisvile KY News Station had a segment where parents could send in a photo of their child to the station for their birthdays, and be featured on TV. Mom sent in my headshot for a birthday shout out, and we were contacted right away. The news anchors were enchanted with this headshot, and wanted to delve deep into the pageant world. They came to our home to film their segment called, 'The Wrongway Runway'. They filmed the preparation it took for a pageant girl to compete. They not only filmed me in my everyday life, they also followed us 3 hours all the way to Clarksville, Tennessee, Donna's Studio Headquarters. There, they filmed Miss Donna coaching me at the old studio, and also followed us to a National Pageant.
I have also worked outside of the pageantry business, and was featured on the Girl Scout Cookie order forms, and billboards for two years in a row, and have done commercials, and have done several different types of print work.
As the years went by I graduated from high school, and my family and I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where I met the father of my boys. We married in 2005, and had our first son Brycen, in 2006, and welcomed our second son Conner in 2007.
After I had my boys, and a few set backs, I went on to attend Palm Beach State College and graduated as a medical assistant in 2011 with a 4.0 GPA
As a coach, I absolutely adore the girls, and families that I get to meet everyday, and I love being able to teach, guide, and mold a child, just as Miss Donna so carefully did with me. I love being able to bring a smile to a child's face and know that I am an influence in their lives. These are the memories I so cherish with Miss Donna, and I am so grateful to be able to do the same with the girls I get to meet.
I am so honored and blessed to be apart of this prestigious studio. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for our Strutters and their families! 30 years and counting! I will continue to contribute to the legacy of this amazing studio.
